Horsham Symphony Orchestra, under its principal conductor, Steve Dummer, perform an evening of orchestral favourites. The concert opens with Shostakovich’s lively Festive Overture, followed by Bruch’s ever-popular Violin Concerto No.1 performed by distinguished local soloist Rachel Ellis.

The evening culminates with one of the great 20th-century masterpieces, the music to Stravinsky’s flamboyant ballet score, Petrushka.
