The St Luke Passion is the third in our complete cycle of J S Bach's Passions over four years, with the great St Matthew in 2025, our fortieth Anniversary Year.  For this project we are thrilled to have agreed a collaboration with The Geldart Ensemble led by Rachel Stroud and Soloists from Amici Voices, both groups leading specialists in baroque performance.  There is doubt about whether Bach composed the Luke Passion but he certainly performed it and some of the score is in his hand.  Bach Scholar Prof. Bettina Varwig will tell us more in her lively pre-concert talk.
