Exsultate jubilate
Leicester Bach Choir
This concert of joyful and reflective classical music is performed by the Leicester Bach Choir with international soprano Joanne Lunn: "A voice like spun gold and a face full of conviction" - Financial Times
The programme features the fizzing Exsultate Jubilate by Mozart, and Patrick Hawes' settings of the Song of Songs which explore connections between romantic and erotic love and spirituality. These songs express the full range of emotions exprienced by lovers – desire, hope, confusion and joy. Hawes was recently composer in residence with Classic FM.
