London Medical Orchestra

The LMO is a thriving and friendly amateur orchestra, based in North London, and we usually perform three concerts a year in support of medically related charities. The orchestra plays challenging repertoire to a very high standard, each of the string sections being led by a professional player.

Originally founded by doctors, players no longer need to be in the medical profession to join. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 until 9:30 in Islington, N1 2FB. The orchestral season follows the usual school terms, including breaks for half-terms.
