Louth Choral Society presents 'Sure on This Shining Night', a Summer Concert of music and words on the theme of Shakespeare's 'A Midnight's Dream'

Louth Choral Society presents a Summer Concert of music and words on the theme of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and is conducted by our new Musical Director, Alison Willis. Music will feature Morten Lauridsen's 'Sure on This Shining Night', a selection of songs by Amy Beach and George Shearing with words by Shakespeare, a composition by our MD, 'Summer Sky' and solos and piano duets. There will be a special guest appearance by Zero Degrees Chorus, a ladies acapella barbershop chorus sining four part harmony songs. It will be held in the Louth Methodist Church, 12 Nichol Hill, Louth on Sunday 6th July 2025 at 7pm. Doors open at 6.30pm. Tickets are £12 (including 1 child free), and £6 for under 18s.
