Love Music Choirs return to the Usher Hall with Truth Seekers. In ages of uncertainty, to where do we turn for the uncompromising voices that shake up the status quo? In Love Music’s trademark eclectic and colourful style, music and words span three centuries from the devotional poets to songs of activism. The programme includes a mystical reinterpretation of Robert Burns, a nod to sacred spaces of church and druids, and features songs by Vaughan Williams, Nina Simone, Arvo Pärt, The Beatles, and Sinéad O’Connor. They are joined by guests, Edinburgh City Organist John Kitchen and guitarist Steven Polwart.
