Bach Mass in B Minor

This is one of the Baroque period's most celebrated choral masterpieces. This Mass was Bach's last major work before he died.

When the work is heard in its entirety, the listener comes away with the impression that this is a piece of music the composer had been building up to writing for the whole of his life. We are very fortunate to have the Oxford Camerata and the Mayfield Consort coming together again following their very successful concert at the Mayfield Festival in 2018. To perform this wonderful music we have the Mayfield Baroque Orchestra - 24 truly professional musicians, and the whole performance conducted by Jeremy Summerly; the Festival's Director of Music.
