Neither little nor solemn, this mass, longer than most masses, was written in Rossini's later life. He didn't see why sacred music should alys wear a pious or penitential frown. This concert will feature the piano and harmonium accomapaniments that Rossini stipulated. It is the perfect counterblast to a bleak November. There will be a licensed bar.
