Vocals! Reach for the Stars!

Music for Everyone

We've got a real variety of music for you to enjoy including songs from space - Space Oddity, Reach for the Stars and Blast Off! The Musical! There will also be a special appearance from MAD SCIENCE!

We have drawn together a whole host of your favourite leaders who will lead this Vocals weekend with great energy and enthusiasm, including Alison Bennett, Ray McLeod, Jane McDouall and Phil Smith, in the friendly and secure atmosphere of Bluecoat Academy.

There are no auditions - any child can come along and take part, all that's really required is a love for singing and a sense of fun.

Singers are divided into three age-group choirs to make sure the songs are just right for everyone:

• Vocals 1 - school years 1 - 2
• Vocals 2 - school years 3 - 4
• Vocals 3 - school years 5 - 7

Copies of the words and music will be sent out about a month beforehand to help you practice - you can opt to download rehearsal tracks from our website or receive a music CD.
