500 Years of Music!

Enjoy an opportunity to revel in some sumptuous music sung by Musica Vera, conducted by the Choir's Director of Music, David Dewar, on Saturday 23 March at 7.30 pm at St Andrew's Church, Montpellier Street, Cheltenham. Eve Beech will be the soprano soloist, and Fiona Brown will accompany on organ and piano. From Tallis and Palestrina to Mascagni and Elgar we celebrate the achievement of Western music across the European continent. Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn are, naturally, also represented in the programme - with their particular styles informing the historical thread.
