Paddock Orchestra - Spring Concert
Paddock Orchestra
Join Paddock Orchestra for a sparkling Spring Concert at St John the Divine Church, Rastrick, on Saturday 14 March 2025 at 7.30pm.
The evening opens with the bold and dramatic Overture No. 2 by Emilie Mayer — a thrilling discovery from one of the 19th century’s most imaginative symphonic voices. We then turn to the elegance and warmth of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, featuring our own Musical Director Ben Kearsley and Deputy Conductor James Woodrow as soloists.
The concert concludes with sunshine, energy and Italian flair in Mendelssohn’s much-loved Symphony No. 4, bringing the night to a joyful close.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of St John the Divine, this promises to be an uplifting evening of live orchestral music — perfect for regular concert-goers and new listeners alike.
