Petros Singers

Petros Singers is a well-regarded auditioned chamber choir with a reputation for high-quality singing and innovative programmes. A small friendly group of about 35 voices, we give three or four concerts a year in West and Central London and occasionally further afield. We collaborate with top-class orchestras, ensembles and soloists including the London Mozart Players, Il Fagiolini and Dame Emma Kirkby.

Under musical director, Richard Bannan, we perform a wide variety of music to a high standard, placing particular emphasis on vibrant and communicative singing. Repertoire is often idiosyncratic, eschewing the typical canonical works in order to shine a light on forgotten masterpieces and rare choral treasures.

Based in Hammersmith, we rehearse at St Peter's Church, Black Lion Lane, W6 9BE on Tuesday evenings from 8-9.45pm. We are keen to recruit new tenors and basses - please get in touch if you'd like to join us for some trial rehearsals. We also offer free bursaries to all singers aged 16 to 27 (subject to audition).
