Petros Singers | Making Music

Petros Singers

Petros Singers is a leading West London chamber choir with a reputation for high-quality singing and innovative programmes. A small friendly group of about 35 voices, we give three or four concerts a year – in West London, major venues in Central London and occasionally further afield – collaborating with top-class soloists and instrumentalists.

Under musical director, Richard Bannan, we perform a wide variety of music to a high standard, placing particular emphasis on vibrant and communicative singing. Our repertoire is often idiosyncratic, going beyond the typical canonical works in order to shine a light on forgotten masterpieces and rare choral treasures.

Based in Hammersmith, we rehearse at St Peter's Church, Black Lion Lane, W6 9BE on Tuesday evenings from 8-9.45pm. We are interested in hearing from good singers, particularly for tenor parts; if you think you would be an asset, we'll try to fid you a space (subject to audition). Bursaries are offered to talented young singers aged between 16 and 30. For more information, please visit www.petrossingers.org, or contact our Membership Officer at membership@petrossingers.org.
