Portishead Choral Society

A FREE concert to commemorate the end of World War One.

The programme will include For the Fallen by Elgar, a tribute to Fred Weatherly (born in Portishead) with, amongst others, his legendary Bravo Bristol! composed in 1914, plus music by Stephen Adams and Ivor Novello.  The music will be punctuated with some readings and the finale will be a medley of WW1 songs with audience participation.
