Fauré Requiem and Rutter Gloria

Purbeck Arts Choir

The choir have a new Musical Director, John Watkins, who has chosen a beautiful programme of music for us to sing in our Spring Concert, on Saturday 12 April at 6.30pm in St Mary's Church, Swanage.  The concert will start with the Fauré Requiem, with treble soloist chorister from St Mary's Church.  We will also sing Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine, Poulenc's Salve Regina, and Monteverdi's Beatus Vir and Cantate Domino.  Finally the choir will be accompanied by a brass, percussion and timpani ensemble in the glorious GLORIA by John Rutter.
