Summer Concert: Vivaldi Gloria and Mozart Great Mass in C minor

For their summer concert this year, Rochester Choral Society will join forces with the talented musicians of the Rochester Sinfonietta, directed by Scott Farrell, to present two masterworks of classical choral music: The baroque exuberance of Vivaldi’s ever-popular Gloria perfectly complements the timeless symmetries of Rochester’s ancient Cathedral, while Mozart’s intricate and spiritually inspiring Great C minor Mass explodes with themes expressing every emotion possible within its liturgical context.
