Rotherham Symphony Orchestra
About
The RSO is a local orchestra consisting of amateurs, professionals, teachers, and students.
The orchestra was established in 2017 and performed its first concert ‘Proms in the Park’ in Clifton Park in September of that year. The orchestra is going from strength to strength and has since performed two concerts at the prestigious Wentworth Woodhouse, plus a further ‘Proms in the Park’ in Summer 2018.
The orchestra rehearses once a month on a Sunday (2-5pm) with its conductor and musical director Jack Capstaff.
