20th anniversary Christmas Concert

Rotherhithe and Bermondsey Choral Society

The choir and musicians will be performing a programme of lively wassail songs and christmas music based on folk tunes. The programme will include Alexander Le Strange's new award-winning Wassail and Charpentier's 17th century Messe de Minuit. There will be familiar carols for the audience to join in with too. The performance will be conducted by Sue Heath Downey who set up the choir 20 years ago and has been our enthusiastic musical director ever since.
