CANCELLED DUE TO COVID 19 RBCS is the community choir for Rotherhithe & Bermondsey. We will be singing two very different modern requiems in this spring concert. the first, written in the 1940s by Durufle aims for calm and is very atmospheric. The music was inspired by Gregorian chant. Rutter wrote his requiem in the 1980s and he was aiming for spiritual uplift, so together, the two make a light and airy programme. We will be singing with professional soloists and musicians. Do come along to hear this wonderful music and join us for refreshments afterwards.
