Choir rehearsals

Rotherhithe and Bermondsey Choral Society

RBCS, the community choir for Rotherhithe & Bermondsey will begin rehearsing on Tuesday 17 September at 8pm for the christmas concert on Saturday 14 December. We don't hold auditions and you don't need to be able to read music. Anyone who wants to come along and sing with us is welcome. This term we'll be singing carols, of course, and also Britten's Ceremony of Carols, originally written for children and then later arranged for adult voices.

We're usually about 35 singers and sing in four voices, soprano, tenor, alto and bass. We rehearse every Tuesday evening at Time & Talents, St Marychurch Street, Rotherhither SE16 8-9.45pm, led by Sue Heath Downey, our Musical Director (and founder). If you'd like to come along and sing with us, that would be great. We look forward to seeing you at rehearsals.
