2025 A Concert for Christmas

Rutland Choral Society

We are delighted to present our annual Christmas concert featuring seasonal music by living composers Bob Chilcott, Ola Gjeilo, Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre and more traditional carols. The contemporary pieces truly capture the ephemeral beauty of nature at this time of the year. We hope you will enjoy listening to them in our concert as much as we have enjoyed learning them!

The choir will be conducted by Jamie Conway and accompanied by Ivan Linford on the piano. Doors open at 6:45pm and the concert begins at 7:30pm.

Oakham Train Station (https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/oakham/) is a 10-minute walk down Northgate from the concert venue. Public car parks (https://www.rutland.gov.uk/roads-transport-parking/parking/council-car-p...) are located in front of the venue and nearby.
