Serenata Female Voices

Serenata Female Voices is delighted to bring you Laudate! at St Peter’s Church, North Street, Oundle PE8 4AL on Saturday October 1st at 7.30.

Serenata is chamber choir of highly experienced professional and amateur musicians drawn from across the East of England, directed by Dr Kate Wishart and accompanied by Bethany Kirby. We will perform a musical feast of choral masterpieces from classical and contemporary composers, including Gibbon’s The Silver Swan, Handel’s My Heart is Inditing, Purcell’s Come ye Sons of Art, Schubert’s Psalm 23, Mendelssohn’s Laudate Pueri, Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, and contemporary works by Guy Forbes, Sarah Quartel, Oliver Tarney, Ola Gjeilo and Kim André Arnesen - showcasing the close harmonies of upper voices that give such a fine quality to our singing.
