Sleaford Choral Spring Concert 2025 - LEE REQUIEM

Sleaford Choral Society

Sleaford Choral will perform a programme of music composed and/or arranged by their Musical Director, Rowland Lee.  The centrepiece will be the beautiful, Lee Requiem - this is the first time that the Choir has performed the Requiem.  The mezzo -soprano role will be taken by Kate Woolveridge and the tenor by Mark Wilde, we are delighted to welcome these very experienced and well-known operatic soloists.  

Our special guests for the concert are Sleaford Concert Band, who will perform their own programme and will also accompany the choir during the Requiem. This is to be held in the magnificent surroundings and wonderful acoustics of St Denys' Church in Sleaford.

Sleaford Choral will be conducted by Rowland Lee and accompanied by Ed Wellman (Lincoln University) at the piano and organ, and by Rowena Bass on the harp.
