Society of Recorder Players

The objects of the Society of Recorder Players are the education of the public in the study, practice and appreciation of the art of music and the allied arts and, in particular, to promote the study, practice and appreciation of the recorder and its repertoire. The Society has 50 branches throughout the UK and in Ireland, and organises playing events for recorder players of all ages and abilities. Music played ranges from Early to Modern, and includes a variety of styles (Folk, Jazz, 'Classical', etc)
