Themed “Music for Heroes, Dancers & Dreamers” the Solent Concert Orchestra summer concert will take place at Bramshaw Village Hall, Lyndhurst, at 7pm on Saturday 10 June 2023.

The orchestra will be playing an entertaining selection of uplifting music including: ZIMMER Gladiator Suite, COATES Dambusters March, KHACHATURIAN Adagio from Spartacus, MENDELSSOHN Nocturne, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, GRIEG Symphonic Dances, BUTTERWORTH Banks of Green Willow, BIZET Jeux d’Enfants March & Impromptu, SAINT-SAËNS Bacchanale and STRAUSS Perpetuum Mobile.

We are looking forward to playing at Bramshaw, our ‘home’ rehearsal space where we have previously enjoyed an enthusiastic welcome from the local audience.

We are delighted to be supporting the New Forest Trust at this concert. The New Forest is a truly magical place to visit throughout the year and the New Forest Trust aims to secure the future of the forest for everyone who loves it. They work to support the conservation of the unique landscape, wildlife and the traditional commoning way of life. The trust partners with local businesses through their Visitor Gift Scheme which raises funds from the thousands of people who visit the New Forest every year. These funds, together with monies raised directly, support a wide range of conservation and educational projects that are important to the New Forest.
