We are delighted to welcome back Matthew Sharp to play Elgar’s Cello Concerto, a cornerstone of the solo cello repertoire.

Walton’s Crown Imperial was first performed at the coronation of King George VI in 1937. His Symphony No.1 is a volcanic eruption of dark, sensual passion which speaks with unmediated power from the very first bar.
