Staveley Choral Society

Staveley Choral Society is a mixed choir of approximately 50 members and is open to anyone who enjoys singing. We cover a pretty wide range of types of music, which includes traditional and more innovative pieces, and our members vary in musical skills - being able to read music is not essential. The choir has been running for over a century and whilst it is firmly based in Staveley, membership comes from in and around Windermere, Burneside and Kendal as well as Staveley. We are a friendly group of singers and welcome new members. We meet on Monday evenings in Staveley Institute, Abbey Square, Staveley and start at 7.15pm and finish around 8.45pm. Our season usually starts in early September and lasts around 9 months when we break for summer.
