Staveley Choral Society

Staveley Choral Society is a mixed choir of approximately 40 members located in the lovely Lake District. We sing a wide range of music which includes traditional as well as more innovative pieces, sacred and secular. The choir has been running for over a century and though it is based in Staveley, membership comes also from Windermere, Burneside, Kendal and beyond. We are a friendly group of singers with a wide range of musical skills, and always welcome new members: the ability to read music is not essential. We meet on Monday evenings in Staveley Institute, Abbey Square, Staveley between 7pm and 9pm, September to May, in which we present two, sometimes three, concerts.
