SCS and Brandenburg Sinfonia present Rossini’s Stabat Mater

Stevenage Choral Society and Brandenburg Sinfonia present the rarely performed Rossini Stabat Mater.

We are glad to have the wonderful Brandenburg Sinfonia playing this piece with us. The work itself is a setting of the Stabat Mater for four soloists, choir and orchestra. In operatic style the piece is full of colour and interest.

In the first half the orchestra will perform Schubert's Fifth Symphony.
