Brahms and Vaughan Williams

Strathaven Choral Society

Strathaven Choral Society and Bridge of Weir Choral Society will unite for a joint performance of Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with piano acciompaniment. The programme will also include Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs for baritone solo and chorus and settings of four poems of Victor Hugo by Franz Liszt for soprane solo. The choirs, conducted by Christopher Barr, will be joined by professional soloists and pianists. The ticket price is inclusive of interval refreshments.
