Thornton le Dale Ukuleles

We are a Ukulele music group located within the North Yorkshire village of Thornton le Dale. The group is the brainchild of John Scoble who generously gives his time to provide excellent tuition, music and leadership. As well as leading the Thornton Dale Ukuleles John provides tuition to schools and other groups.
We have great fun playing together and we perform at various venues and concerts. We are often invited to play for local organisations, retirement homes, and charity concerts. Since the group was formed we have raised in excess of £79,000 for charity.

On 14 April 2023, we played at the Kirk Theatre Pickering, on behalf of Ryedale Lions. The concert raised approximately £2000 for St Martins Children's Hospice.
