Trinity Concert Band are delighted to be reconnecting with the fabulous vocal duet Indigo May (www.indigomayduo.com) for a musical celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Previously members of The Swingle Singers and regular performers on P&O and Cunard cruise lines, these two accomplished sopranos will join us on stage to perform an exciting range of music.

This special concert will be jam-packed with music spanning the 70 years of the Queen’s reign, including Philip Sparke’s ‘Jubilee Overture’, a medley of Queen’s greatest hits, famously performed at The Mountbatten Festival of Music and well-known pieces from the West End’s finest musicals.

No Jubilee concert would be complete without music from the Queen’s coronation. Out of the many great pieces performed on that momentous occasion, we’ve chosen Walton’s ‘Crown Imperial’, ‘Jupiter’ from Holst’s The Planets and Elgar’s stirring ‘Nimrod’.

To bring this spectacular evening to a close, we’ll bring the ‘Last Night of the Proms’ to Reading with our performance of Henry Wood’s famous ‘Fantasia on British Sea-Songs’!
