Truro Choral Society sings Puccini Messa di Gloria
Truro Choral Society
Truro Choral Society sings Puccini's choral masterpiece Messa di Gloria. This beautiful work was composed when Puccini was a young man and is an early example of his operatic instincts. The choir will be accompanied by Truro Symphony Orchestra, Cornwall Youth Chamber Choir and superb soloists Anthony Mee as tenor and Mark Williams as baritone, with Martin Palmer as conductor.
The evening's programme also includes Vivaldi’s Magnificat and Concerto RV 576 for violin, recorders, oboes and strings.
