Vale Royal String Orchestra

Once again, the Vale Royal String Orchestra are presenting a concert of popular string music from Bach to Britten in the Great Hall of Vale Royal Abbey.

Our new conductor Adam Kornas will be one of the soloists in Bach’s concerto for two violins, Robert Anderson, the orchestra’s leader will be the other soloist.

The concert includes Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 3, a Nocturne by Dvořák, Grieg’s Holberg Suite, and the Sarabande from Britten’s Simple Symphony. The concert ends with Josef Suk’s tuneful Serenade.
