A spring concert with Vocalis – Baroque Delights

Join Vocalis, Harrogate’s popular chamber choir in the warm and friendly atmosphere of Holy Trinity Church, Gracious Street, Knaresborough, HG5 8BQ on Saturday 26 March at 7.30pm for their next concert ‘Baroque Delights’. Vocalis will be accompanied by David Grealy organist and a string ensemble.

Alex Kyle, Musical Director has chosen a splendid and varied programme of English, German and Italian music from the Baroque period including Buxtehude, Schűtz, JS Bach. Purcell, Barbara Strozzi and Monteverdi, including the latter’s Beatus Vir.  The concert concluded with one of Handel’s popular Coronation Anthems: Let thy hand be strengthened.

Wine and soft drinks will be available during the interval. Tickets: adults £12 students £5 available online at www.harrogatevocalis.org.uk . Under 19s and carers accompanying people requiring assistance free entry.
