Help us to celebrate the music of seven composers with our Anniversaries programme, from Pierre de la Rue who died in 1518 to Hubert Parry and Claude Debussy who both died in 1918. This span of 400 years encompasses all choral styles, from dainty madrigals and complex polyphony to the glorious and poignant Songs of Farewell.
There are instrumental items to showcase our in-house talent and even a light-hearted ditty featuring a dog, a cat, an owl and a cuckoo - something for everyone! All will be masterfully conducted by Keith Orrell.
Join us at Christ Church, West Didsbury M20 2ZD at 7.30 on Saturday 19 May. Tickets cost £10 (£9 concessions, £5 students) at the door or in advance from choir members."
