Yeovil Chamber Choir

This is an opportunity for keen singers to spend a day exploring masterpieces of the choral repertoire; some well known, and some less familiar works, but all from the greatest composers. Looking forward to the Byrd 400 year in 2023, the repertoire includes Byrd Sing Joyfully. Repertoire planned includes motets Monteverdi Cantate Domino and Schutz Unser Herr, Jesus Christ, and in contrast the evocative spiritual meditation that is Ēriks Ešenvalds Salutation.  Central to the day will be the exhilarating double choir Stanford Magnificat, set in sumptuous Venetian polychoral style.
