YWO Flute Day 2023 - Dancing in the Winds...

Yorkshire Wind Orchestra

Join the flautists of the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra for a day of flute playing, followed by participation in an evening concert (optional) alongside the full Yorkshire Wind Orchestra.

The specially gathered flute ensemble will play a range of music inspired by dances from around the world, with an aim of developing ensemble playing skills in a fun and relaxed environment.  Participants are then invited to perform in a special evening concert alongside the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra - or you can simply attend as an audience member if you prefer.  

The day is open to flute players of grade 6 standard and above - piccolos and big flutes are also very welcome!
