The Phoenix Choir of Crawley

Phoenix Choir of Crawley invite you to a fun filled, family friendly, afternoon concert on Saturday 9th March 2024, at St Andrews Church, Weald Drive, Furnace Green, Crawley RH10 6NU.

You will recognise songs from Disney’s Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King, a medley of James Bond film themes, The Teddy Bears’ Picnic, and a choral version of The William Tell Overture (theme tune to TV’s Lone Ranger from the 1950s), plus several other fun pieces - some old, some new.  

Phoenix Choir of Crawley will be conducted by George Salmon and accompanied on keyboard by Gina Eason.  There will also be music from our fabulous guests Ensemble Reza string quartet, and some tinkling tunes from The Crawley Handbell Singers.

This is an afternoon concert starting at 3pm and finishing at about 4.30pm. We hope this timing will make it attractive to families with children and to older music lovers who like to get home in the daylight.

Audience members of all ages are invited to Wear themed Fancy Dress and/or Bring a Teddy Bear (neither are compulsory, but it would add to the fun!)

Tickets bought and paid for in advance are only £12 each for adults, £2 each for children (under age 18), £5 each for full time students aged 18 or over.  On sale from 8th February at these ‘family friendly’ prices. On the door (subject to availability) they will be £13 Adult, £3 child, £6 f/t student.
