The Maidstone Singers Extended Choir: Magnificat!

The Maidstone Singers will celebrate the Magnificat through the works of three different composers: Bach, Rutter and Stanford. The concert will take place at All Saints Church, Maidstone on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at 7.30 pm.

The Magnificat is one of the most ancient and beloved hymns of the Christian tradition, expressing joy, gratitude, and hope. Each composer brings their own style and interpretation to this timeless text, creating a rich and varied musical experience.

Under our Music Director, Kathryn Ridgeway, we will be accompanied by TMS Sinfonia and soloists from Horizon Voices: Lindsey James – Soprano, Sophie Timms - Mezzo Soprano, James Rhodes – Tenor and Alex Pratley - Bass Baritone.
