Come and Sing Elgar: The Dream of Gerontius

'Come and join our dynamic duo Mark Jordan and Alex Aitken for a day exploring choruses from Elgar’s enduringly popular The Dream of Gerontius..

'This is the best of me … this, if anything of mine, is worth your memory’. So wrote Elgar as he competed what has become known as one of the greatest English choral works of all time. Join us to learn more of this dramatic and exciting music.  

Doors open at 9.00 for a 9.30 start, and family and friends are invited at 2.30 to an informal sing-through with soloists to round off the day. Scores and refreshments (cake!) are included in the ticket price, but please bring your own lunch.
