Three Choirs - One Voice

Kingsbridge Barbershop Harmony Club

A wonderful evening of song and harmony to raise awareness and funds for BASICS Devon (https://www.basics-devon.org.uk/). BASICS Devon strives to be the county's leading volunteer pre-hospital immediate care charity.

The Concert is being organised by The Kingsmen (https://www.kingsmen.org.uk/), a Barbershop Harmony Chorus, established in Kingsbridge over 30 years ago.  It's Chair, Barrington Sowden, was recently supported by the wonderful networked team of volunteer Doctors and Paramedics.  Touched by the immediate and pre-hospital care provided, Barrington decided to nominate BASICS Devon as his Charity for 2023. 

The Concert will also feature the fantastic Callington Community Gospel Choir (https://www.ccgc.org.uk/) and the equally amazing Plymouth Rock Choir (https://www.facebook.com/southdevonrockchoir/); so over 120 singers in total!  And all three Choirs will be on stage for a final and joint song - providing the opportunity for all in the audience to join in.
 
Coordinating the evening, introducing the acts, and providing a little background about the great work done by BASICS Devon to support the local community, will be David 'Fitz' Fitzgerald (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p005xcn8), from BBC Radio Devon.
