Bob Chilcott Workshop Come and sing three favourite works by a choral composing and conducting legend! The next event in Henley Choral Society’s bumper 50th anniversary year is a workshop open to all singers by much-loved composer and conductor Bob Chilcott. You’ll be working on three of Bob’s own compositions: Songs and Cries of London, Like a Singing Bird, and A Little Jazz Mass, before an informal performance from 3.45pm - 4.30pm. Score hire included in ticket price. And the society promises their bakers will be out in force with plenty of home-made cake to fuel a day of fun, singing and learning! Workshop 10.30am - 4.30pm: morning break, lunch 1.00pm - 2.00pm (many cafés & shops in Henley) afternoon break with home-made cake, informal performance 3.45pm - 4.30pm. TRAVEL: Henley is accessible by train and bus. St Mary’s Church is a 10-minute walk from the station. PARKING: Paid all day parking at train station car park. Street parking is very limited.
