‘Winter Wonderland’

For our Winter Concert this year we invite you on a musical journey through winter wonderland, featuring a fabulous selection of music to ease you gently into the Christmas Season.  Rossini’s dynamic Cinderella Overture will set the concert off at a cracking pace.  We propose to take you on not one but three charming sleigh rides by Waldteufel, Mozart and Prokofiev.  We will enchant you with Humperdinck’s beguiling Hansel and Gretel Overture, music for film including a selection from the Polar Express and Frozen.

Alton Concert Orchestra look forward to seeing you at Alton Maltings Centre at 7.30pm on the 26th November 2022.

Wonderful seasonal refreshments will be available during the interval.
