Gioachino Rossini: Petite Messe Solennelle
Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir
This is the long-retired Rossini’s last and humorous “sin of old age”, an unconventional setting of the conventional texts of the Mass. The work was written for performance in a Parisian salon, and our concert will take place in the classical splendour of Leamington Spa's Royal Pump Rooms. Our soloists will be April Koyejo (soprano), Cerys Purser (mezzo-soprano), Monwabisi Lindi (tenor) and Blaise Malaba (bass), and we will be partnered by Colin Druce on piano and Ben de Souza on accordion. Conductor: Lee Dunleavy.
Tickets £18 (students and children £5)
