The Camden Choir's Summer Concert & Art Exhibition

Camden Choir

Local artists & craftspeople join the Camden Choir for a joyous summer event at St Mary's, Primrose Hill

Fresh from our triumphant world première at the Cadogan Hall, the Camden Choir returns to our home ground for a joyous summer concert to conclude our 50th Jubilee year.

For this event, we are highlighting not only composers who lived and worked in northwest London, but also local artists and craftspeople from within the choir and their friends. The exhibition will open at 6.30 pm and the concert will start at 7.30 pm – refreshments will be available before the concert and during the interval. Please note that admission is by ticket ONLY.

We shall be singing works by composers with local connections – these include Elgar, Handel, Rutter, Tavener and Vaughan Williams. Our soloists will be Rebecca Hardwick (soprano), James Robinson (tenor), and Michael Hickman (bass). Nicholas Houghton, a stalwart of many years, will rejoin us to play organ and piano, and Iestyn Evans will conduct
