Postponed from 5th March due to Covid restrictions on rehearsing!
Perth Symphony Orchestra are happy to present a programme of warm, lively and uplifting music.
We open with Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March No. 4.
This is followed by the Andante from Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole, featuring Maya Christie as soloist on violin.
The first half concludes with Khachaturian's Widow of Valencia, with a wealth of sparkling tunes and orchestral colour.
In the second half we pay tribute to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a tour around the British Isles:
