Somerset County Orchestra are delighted to welcome back Elizabeth Hayley for a performance of Beethoven’s youthful first Piano Concerto. The theme of youthfulness is continued in Prokofiev’s moving Suites from his ballet Romeo and Juliet, one of the movements known to all as the theme tune to The Apprentice. The concert opens with Rossini’s William Tell Overture, another piece better known by its TV theme name, the Lone Ranger.
