Cheltenham Bach Choir is very happy to announce its return to public singing with its performance of Bach's celebrated Mass in B Minor in the evocative surroundings of Tewkesbury Abbey.

It has been said that the B Minor Mass is one of J S Bach's most moving spiritual pieces ever composed. It is widely understood that Bach wrote the Mass in B minor to leave as his musical legacy. The choir will be accompanied in this performance by The Musical and Amicable Society Orchestra.

As we emerge from the constraints of the last couple of years and celebrate our return to Tewkesbury Abbey, we are very conscious that there are many new and emerging challenges facing people around the world and in particular in Ukraine. To demonstrate our support for the people of Ukraine we will be having a voluntary collection at the end of the concert.  So if you are planning on joining us, we encourage you to bring your change/notes with you to throw in the buckets.
