The Concert of all the Talents

Mayfield Festival presents The Concert of all the Talents; the ‘talents’ in this case being eight highly accomplished young musicians from across the world who are starting their professional careers. They all won the highest level of achievement - a Certificate of Distinction - at the 2021 Tunbridge Wells Interim Music Competition held in April.

These very talented young musicians are Matthew Chin from Hong Kong (Violin), Robert Finegan from Ireland (Saxophone), Adam Lee from Scotland (Clarinet), Eriko Nagayama from Japan (Violin), Richard Scholfield from Scotland (Saxophone), Mio Takahashi from Japan (Violin), Sejin Yoon from South Korea (Piano) and Richard Zhang from China (Piano). They will be performing solos, duets, trios and one quartet from works by a range of composers, including Bartok, Debussy, Dvorak, Mozart, Rameau and Stravinsky.
