Definitely not a Christmas Performance, The Wordsworth Singers return to Keswick for their first concert since November 2019 with Sacred Joy, glorious unaccompanied sacred choral music from the 16th century by William Byrd and Robert White to more recent works by Charles Villiers Stanford and Gustav Holst. Enjoy the polyphony, the dance rhythms, and the flowery madrigal magic from their Renaissance origins to their reinvention for the 20th century.
