Egham Choral Workshop: Bob Chilcott
Egham and District Choral Society
We’re very excited that composer, conductor, former King’s Singer and all-round star of the choral world, Bob Chilcott, will be joining us on for our first Egham Choral workshop.
Our MD, Richard Robbins will be helping us to learn two short pieces on Monday 22nd March and on Monday 29th March we’ll be joined by Bob Chilcott. The session will include discussion, some singing and a Q&A. The workshop music will include “Were you there?” and “God so loved the World”. Both workshops will last approximately 1 hr and we’re asking for a registration fee to cover music licensing (£5). To register, please follow this link https://www.eghamchoral.org/product/workshop-bob-chilcott/
In normal times, Egham Choral is an SATB choir and we usually hold three concerts a year. We sing a range of secular and sacred music, and kept going on Zoom and with distanced rehearsals in 2020. We held outdoor carol singing and a live stream concert in December 2020, and are planning to resume in-person rehearsals as soon as possible. We are looking forward to welcoming old and new members in the Spring/Summer of 2021! (email: chairman@eghamchoral.org).
£5, to cover 2 sessions (22nd and 29th March) and sheet music.
